Removal Tracker

The one thing that decides whether this works: a log. Tick each broker as you file, confirm and verify. It remembers where you got to, tells you what to do next, and exports so you still have it if you clear your browser.

◉Everything you tick is stored in this browser's local storage on this device. No account, no sign-up, and none of it is transmitted to us — we cannot read it. That also means it does not sync between devices and it disappears if you clear your browsing data, so export the CSV once you've made real progress. The site runs three advertising tags on every page — Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and Whop's pixel. None can read your tracker data. See the privacy policy.

How to use it

Click a broker's status to cycle it: Not started → Filed → Verified → Re-listed.

  • Filed — you submitted the opt-out. Most sites also send a confirmation email you must click; the request does nothing until you do.
  • Verified — you searched the site again in a private window 72 hours later and you're genuinely gone. Do not mark this from the success message alone.
  • Re-listed — you reappeared at a later check. Normal, not a failure. Here's why.
Work it in tiers, not alphabetically

Tier 1 first — those publish your address for free with no paywall and rank in Google for your name. They cause almost all of the real-world harm. Filter to Tier 1, clear those 18, and you've captured most of the benefit available.

The batch method

Doing these one at a time, waiting for each confirmation, is how people quit on day two. Instead:

  1. Open six brokers in six tabs. Search yourself on each, collect the profile URLs.
  2. Submit all six opt-outs.
  3. Go to your opt-out inbox and clear every confirmation link that has arrived.
  4. Mark all six Filed here. Close the tabs. Stop.

Across 70 brokers, batching is the difference between about four hours and about eleven.

This tracker is one appendix.

The Ghost Protocol is the rest: which sites to hit tonight, the verification step people silently fail, the search-engine cleanup, the social settings that keep re-leaking you, and copy-paste templates for when a broker ignores you.

Questions

Does this sync between my phone and laptop?

No. It's deliberately local-only — there's no account because there's no server. Export the CSV and keep it in your own notes app if you need it in two places.

Will I lose my progress?

If you clear your browser data, use private browsing, or switch device — yes. Export the CSV once you're a few brokers in.

Why 70 and not "hundreds"?

Because these are the ones that actually surface ordinary people. The California and Vermont registries list hundreds of registered brokers, most of which are B2B and will never show up when someone searches your name. Chapter 3 of the book covers how to work the registries if you want to go further.
