Terms & Refunds

What you're buying, what it costs, what it does not promise, and how to get your money back. Written to be read, not to be survived.

  • The price: $10 USD, one time. No subscription, no trial, no renewal, nothing to cancel.
  • Refunds: 30 days, no questions, and you keep the file.
  • Updates: future editions are free, in your Whop library.
  • Licence: yours to use and print for yourself. Not to resell or redistribute.

What you are buying

The Ghost Protocol: The 30-Day Plan to Erase Your Digital Footprint — an the complete system, delivered as an immediate download after payment. It contains a step-by-step process for removing your personal information from data brokers and people-search sites, plus printable trackers and copy-paste request templates.

It is a digital guide. It is not a service, not software, and we do not remove anything on your behalf. The work described in the book is work you do yourself. That is the entire reason it costs $10 rather than $100+ a year.

Price and payment

  • $10 USD, charged once. There is no recurring billing of any kind.
  • Payment is processed by Whop. We never see or store your card details.
  • Whop creates an account so you can re-download the file on any device and receive free updates.
  • Applicable taxes, if any, are handled at checkout by Whop.

Refunds

30 days, no questions asked, and you keep the book.

Email support@getghostprotocol.com with the email address you bought with. You do not need to explain yourself, fill in a form, justify the request, or return anything. We would rather refund you than have you feel stuck with something that didn't help.

If you tell us why it didn't work, we genuinely want to know — the book gets revised, and that feedback is how. But it is not a condition of the refund.

The Chapter Three Guarantee

Our suggestion, not a requirement: work the first three chapters before deciding. That's the audit, the Big Three takedown, and the start of the sweep — about two evenings. If you don't feel meaningfully safer at the end of it, ask for your money back.

Refunds are issued through Whop to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Because refunds are processed by the platform, you are not relying on our goodwill alone.

Free updates

Data brokers move their opt-out pages constantly. When the book is revised, the new edition appears in your Whop library at no cost. There is no upgrade fee and no separate "updates" subscription. We aim to revise quarterly but do not guarantee a fixed schedule.

Licence — what you may and may not do

You may: read it on any of your devices, print a copy for your own use, and use the templates and checklists for yourself and your immediate household.

You may not: resell it, give away copies, upload it to file-sharing or "freebie" sites, repackage its contents as your own, or use it as training data for a machine-learning model.

If someone sent you a copy, please buy your own. Ten dollars is what keeps it updated.

The free tools and guides

Everything at /tools/, /guides/ and the opt-out list is free to use, with no account and no email required. They are provided as-is. You are welcome to link to them; please don't copy them wholesale onto another site.

What this is not

This is information, not legal advice. Privacy law differs by state and country, and nothing on this site creates a solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship. For an actual legal dispute, speak to a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

We do not promise invisibility, and the book says so on page one. Court records and property deeds are public by law and stay that way. A funded professional investigator can still find you. What the book delivers is a documented process for removing the listings that expose your home address to casual searchers, and a routine for keeping them off.

Third-party sites change. Opt-out URLs move, forms break, and companies are acquired or shut down. The book teaches a method for finding any broker's current opt-out page precisely because links rot — but we cannot guarantee that every link works on the day you read it, and we cannot control whether a broker honours your request.

Nothing here instructs anyone to break the law. No falsifying records, no evading legal process, no hiding from law enforcement or creditors with a legitimate claim. Every step is exercising a right you already have, in the way the law intends.

If you are in immediate danger

This book is a good long-term plan and a poor emergency plan. Contact your local police first. In the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, and stalking resources are at victimconnect.org. Most US states also run an Address Confidentiality Program, which is faster and stronger than anything in this book.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to this site or the book is limited to what you paid us — which is $10. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.

Still deciding?

Run the free exposure check first and see what's actually published about you. If it comes back clean, keep your ten dollars — we'd genuinely rather that than a refund.
